Bluma

Terms of use

Effective 4 November 2026. Bluma is sold and operated by The Frolic App Pty Ltd (ACN 697 066 265), Melbourne, Australia.

These terms apply from launch. Until then, a founding-year purchase is governed by the pre-order terms.

  1. Who you are dealing with. The Frolic App Pty Ltd (ACN 697 066 265), Melbourne, Australia (“we”).
  2. What the service does. Bluma stores a message you seal, encrypted, and sends it from your connected account at the time you chose. A sealed message locks a set period before it goes; withdrawing a locked message takes a short wait and a written reason. You can always withdraw a message before it is sent, and you can always disconnect an account.
  3. What it cannot do. Bluma sends only through services that allow it (Gmail, Outlook, Slack). It does not send iMessages, WhatsApp messages or LinkedIn messages, and does not claim to. It cannot read your inbox.
  4. Your responsibilities. You are the sender of every message Bluma sends on your behalf. You must have the right to send it, and it must comply with the terms of the service it goes through and with the law, including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) for commercial electronic messages. Bluma is not a bulk-mail tool and enforces recipient limits.
  5. Reliability. We aim to send within one minute of the chosen time, and we tell you when something does not go. Where a send's outcome is unknown, we tell you and never send it again on our own. We cannot guarantee delivery, which depends on the provider and the recipient.
  6. Plans and payment. Free and Pro plans are described on the pricing page. Pro is billed by Stripe in Australian dollars; you can stop it at any time and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Prices include GST where it applies.
  7. Acceptable use. No unlawful, abusive, deceptive or unsolicited bulk messaging; no attempt to send through accounts you do not control; no interference with the service.
  8. Suspension and termination. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or that a provider flags for abuse. You may delete your account at any time; deletion is immediate and complete.
  9. Liability. To the extent the law allows, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for the period in which the problem occurred. Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee that the law does not let us exclude.
  10. Law. Victoria, Australia.
